I have some VERY large eucalyptus trees and walnut trees, BOTH kinds of trees emit a plant toxin into the soil. I have other areas that are NOT sheltered from the wind or cold that would not have toxic soil. .. thoughts, advice, suggestions.

I am thinking of very large outdoor planters of some kind near the a sheltered area of the yard

I have two mature black walnut trees in a shade garden and I feel your pain.

Short term plants like annuals will work for a season and sensitive perennials will perish in a number years.

While I do not grow bananas in the ground in these areas there are plants which are resistant to juglone. Just choose a compatible plant for your landscape.Bananas are not one of them.
Large planters /raised beds are a wonderful idea.
There is a lot of info on the internet which has helped me bit.
