BBJ,
I think that pup is a major drag on the main plants growth. In order to win the contest you probably need to jettison that fine looking anchor...(hint, hint). |

![]() ![]() Here's mine right now, p-stem is around 3' and the top of the leaf is just under 6ft (Fence is 6ft') My Orinoco already caught up even with a bunch of pups, but the P Hands has more girth on the stem. (Orinoco on the right) Other than that my P Hands is looking VERY healthy so I'm happy ![]()

There have been a number of storms with strong wind in my area so most of my plants have shredded leaves. Sad. |

Well since you posted an update today, I might as well do the same
![]() Here it is with the newest leaf, it might not be as big as the one you just posted... but for the size of my plant it's still pretty huge ![]() Also that tiny pup that emerged 2 weeks ago turned out to be a very nice sword pup!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Haven't seen an update from BBJ in a while
so I guess I'll post oneThe main plant is pushing out some huge monster leaves but isn't growing vertically as much as my Orinoco's are. I suspect this 1st generation mother plant won't grow that tall compared to the following pups. The tiny pup from my last posts got THICC and is growing like crazy. Also another sister pup came out recently and it's also looking PHAT ![]() Definitely a very healthy corm growing under there so I'm happy ![]() They're for sure drawing a lot of energy but I'm going to leave them on because ultimately my goal is to get a nice healthy mat established. The 1st pup nearly has half the girth as the mother plant Here is another look at the pup from the side Next to my Orinoco Mat

Gorgeous plants. My praying hands is growing pretty good but nothing like that yet. Not bad though considering it is (was) a tissue culture.

Thar she blows!!!!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pstem is 10’. Had some wind that snapped off half a leaf and shredded all the rest, but..... thar she blows! Lol Very excited to see these guys, and of course taste them. I don’t think I have ever seen these in person. Valor X, your plant looks great! You had some setbacks but you pulled through. Great job bro! *Note*: the contest isn’t over yet. The flower has to fully emerge. But even after we finish the contest I think we will continue to update the thread as our plants mature into full-blown mats. ![]() |

Wow! I wasnt expecting that just yet! I guess the absence of trash talking on this thread of late lulled me into thinking the plants werent growing as fast as we hoped! Great job both of you! Valor X yours must not be far behind!
