Default So Mysore just bloomed.........

Great day in my banana row. Had not walked them in about 4 days or so and just noticed this!!! So how long from bloom to harvest does mysore more or less take??? So excited!! First bloom from this variety, and goldfinger is pushing, flower just emerged!!

Not as tropical as where you are, but South Florida really no harsh winter lol still in the 80s. So hoping for a milder winter than usual (if there is such a thing) so it does not slow them down. Can't wait!! Will be right before mango season here, not a bad time of the year!!!

You're gonna love em, they are very tasty. Here in the Marshall Islands they call them Three Hundred's because it looks like there's so many bananas hanging.

Congratulations on your bloom. Mysore are certainly one of the best among the first-class eating bananas.

Be sure to post a lot of photos of your Goldfinger bloom... Gabe15 is an expert ID~er and will be able to tell you which cultivar it is.

Damn I am doing something wrong cuz mine looking nothing like your bunch LOL And will most definetly post pics of the goldfinger, she is open with a few hands exposed already

PR's bunches are almost enough to give a guy a complex lol. I have gotten mysore bunches almost that size, It took a lot of mulch and horse manure. Most bananas in south Fla take 4-6 months to ripen.
