Sam Ruby Yay!!!
i totally flipped when i saw a siam ruby for sale today and i snatched it up. i was so lucky because not too many bananas around here for some reason this year ,anyway it was labeled as a "zabrina" "blood banana" HaHHAAHAHAHA what a joke ,i planted it ,its so gorguss even if it dosn't make fruit, i got my ice cream for that

where did you get it from and how do you tell the difference from the blood's? I 'm not sure if I have a blood or not. Thanks

Go to the Photo Gallery section and in the search field type in Musa zebrina or Musa acuminata ssp. zebrina and you'll get pictures of what the zebrina looks like. Same thing for Siam Ruby.

,you can tell the difference because the blood naner has mottled burgandy folige yet the siam ruby has red leaves with flecks of green variegation also stripes of green and a striped trunk YAY! OMG! ![]()
