Default Picked up a Dwarf Red.

Took another visit to Sunfish's Nursery today and brought home a Dwarf Red.

I'm really excited about this one because this was the plant I wanted to start with originally. The first time I spoke with Tony, he told me that it was spoken for. . But since then I guess it never got picked up so I decided to give it a new home!

I thought it was smaller and so I only had plan to put it in a 3 gallon until Spring comes and I would transplant it to a bigger pot.

As you can see it would not have taken long for it reach the edges. So I decided to get it in a bigger pot.

Ran to home depot to pick up this 16" pot. I saw a 7 gallon pot, but it was only bigger height wise and not so much as width.

I sure hope it can be happy in this pot until Spring comes along. Any suggestions on watering schedule for this growing Dwarf Red?

Water it in and don't water until the water is almost dry. After it shows signs of growth you can give it more water.
