My FHIA-01 is blooming. Now what?
Hello, I am unsure of what to do with my banana plant. I had it in the ground last summer and have since kept it overwintered potted up in my greenhouse. I was getting ready to move it outside this week when i noticed this today!
![]() photo2_zps826c9f16.jpg Photo by Tom127_ | Photobucket Should I still plant it outside after the flower is done coming out or should I just let it fruit in the pot? |

Alright, thanks. I ordered it from going-bananas last summer as an FHIA-01 Goldfinger. I was surprised that it flowered at this height as well since the psuedostem is only about 5 ft. I did cut it back about a foot during our cold winter since a lot of it was rotting, maybe that has to do with it?
