Very good suggestion. Hopefully the frost doesn't zap them... If so I probably wouldn't have any problem consuming them...

Hey young grasshopper....relax lol !!! Orinoco one of first banana varieties I ever grew so it will always have my respect because it’s tough as nails but if it’s doesn’t taste good....she gone!!! Lol!!!!
I don’t got the time and space like you do to grow 55 varieties lol’ but you are doing an amazing job!!!!
Hopefully I can still convince you to just grow the 5 that do the best for you but that’s not going to happen because I’ve been there also and it’s a great hobby and you sure have the passion like I once did. Keep it up!!!!

Everything isn't perfect in paradise! Lol! Frost was on rooftops and there is very minor leaf burn on the edge of some new leaves. I a!so discovered some bad white fly infestation on a leaf.... The white flies are pretty big..... Twice the size of an ant. They were all crushed by me however

Thanks for the kind words! I guess sharing is caring because you sent some of your frigid temps down here and we experienced some very cold temps- 39°! AeAe not happy. How's your AeAe? Good I hope?

Ha ha! It's so satisfying to put an end to pests.

I'm currently at war with the refugee spidermites that fled the SDC -___-

LOL. Ooops.

....My AeAe flipped out once it got cold here too. I wrote a bit about that in my catching up thread. I've read they really love their heat..Hmm.. NO KIDDING. I'm actually pretty miffed at the early gloomy/cold weather we got here. I think my AeAe would have done alot better if they had time to get established. Next year I will be prepared! I'm determined to have success with AeAe !

Very nice backyard! I want to create a jungle too. I hope these cold temps we have already had isn't foretelling some freezes in January!

Eleven hand tall Namwa Bunch is...... finally..... ripening!

See how little of this leaf had green.... all the empty space was white leaf. I will feed it some Nitrogen so hopefully soon the leaves become mostly green.
