Hello,
I've noticed my blue java is leaning recently. Yesterday the wind was really on it and I was worried that would make it worse. I ended up using some bungee cords tied to the fence to help. Is this ok or is there a better way to stake this? I'm in San Diego and we are kind of on a hill, so somewhat exposed to the wind on a regular basis. I tried to put the tree in a sheltered area. You see the fence and the bush, but the bush is not that tall. The wind comes from the direction of the bush. I'm afraid once the tree gets taller this is going to be come a bigger problem. I put the tree in a raised bed because it didn't seem to be doing as well in the ground directly. https://ibb.co/mRfFfn3 |

Once the plant gets taller the leaves will normally shred in windy areas.....which is fine also. Looks like a nice plant. |

Thanks! Yeah it is healthy and growing well. The bungees actually pulled the tree a bit in the other direction so I removed them.
