Should I get a dwarf cavendish of an ice cream banana to be in a pot indoors because I live in zone 5

If you grow it indoor in winter time, it should be Dwrf Cavendish because Ice
Cream reaches 4~5m high, while Dwrf Cavendish only 1.5~2m. |

I have had very poor luck with dwarf cavendish in a pot. After it reaches about 3 feet of psuedostem it dies back.
