Hello,
I squirrel has decided to dig a hole in my banana planter, right next to a pup. The worst thing is, I'm out of town for a few more days and can't deal with it. My wife is home, but I don't trust her to take care of it and keep my tree in good condition. First question, is my tree in any immediate danger? Can this wait until I get home? Second question... how do I get this out? I think I can flood the hole with water, but my wife said she's worried about the tree leaning. Anyone had this issue? |

Solution Rat trap peanut butter placed under a box at the hole to protect from non target animals. Allow a large enough box for the trap to work. Get a chair and coffee. Allow 30 minutes... |

Well I don't want my dog to tear up my plants either... I had my wife use animal repellant and rocks to plug the hole. I also told her not to restock the bird feeder as that is what's attracting them. We'll move it when I get home.
