Got a job in the Nursery at Lowes and when I came in today they had 4 Red Leaved Banana trees (Ensete ventricosum 'Maurelii'). Anyone know anything about them? Didn't say too much on the tag and wasn't sure if it actually fruits or if it's just an ornamental. All I know is one of them has my name on it. lol Thanks for the help as always.

Very cool Banana. MY personal favorite for it's majesty and beauty. They grow really, REALLY fast and can get huge.
Mine grew from about a foot and 1/2 to 10-11 feet as it is today all while potted. Scott/Omaha |
