I recently took a look at my plants overwintering under the house and they appear to be drying out I cut the top of of one and there is a little yellow green color in the center but it doesnt look good the others are not as bad but look like they will soon follow.any suggestions on this

Hopefully someone with more experience will weigh in on this but , a couple of things. Is it possible that it got below freezing ( a high /low thermometer may help). I've read that wrapping a damp towel around the roots may help this , wetting the towel occasionally say once a month. I've over wintered plumeria for well over 10 years( dry in pots) watering about once a month only because the stem ends tend to get shriveled. Still upon resuming regular watering they do just fine.Hope this helps.

that is normal mine dry up to u might lose some of the stem or all of it as long as the corm is hard and not mushy it will come back in spring as for watering i dont water or wrap a damp cloth around the corm the roots usually dry up and die in a few days anyways so watering wont do no good only cause rot i usually cut all the roots of before storing them in my basement i just checked mine yesterday and the cavendishs the stems look pretty rought too and the ornamentals the stems r totally gone but all still hard and have green yet so no worries
