These Magical Bananas Taste Exactly Like Ice Cream
I was interviewed for, but not quoted in this article. Basically because I told her Ice Cream bananas are one of my least favorite, and they aren't especially sweet. I can't even sell them when I have them because they have such a bad reputation. But that didn't jibe with what she'd already decided to write. Decent article though and mostly accurate. I guess a fully accurate headline, "These Mushy Cooking Bananas Taste Sort of Like Ice Cream if You've Never Had Ice Cream Before" wouldn't generate many clicks! I'm the "one Hawaii grower" she mentions and she did at least use my suggestion that they're good frozen and blended. |

I totally agree. I would pick a Cavendish over the Ice Cream any day. But I do like the "fake Ice Cream". Namwah
