Hummingbirds - Hispaniolan Emerald, Antillean Mango and occasionally Vervain Hummingbird, smooth-billed Anis, Palmchats, Bananaquits, Nutmeg Mannikin, Stolid Flycatcher, Grackle, Green Heron, Cattle Egret, Hispaniolan Lizard-cuckoo, Hispaniolan Woodpecker, and flying overhead - Hispaniolan Parakeet and Parrot. Lots of other one-time visitors but the above are regulars, and yes - we have no cats!

We have a neurotic male Cardinal. He constantly comes to the windows and glass sliding doors of the house pecking on the glass. He goes around the house doing this, and when he finds what room I'm in he stays and pecks away. If I get up close to the window he flies away. I've tried to approach from outside but he doesn't like that. Indeed, if I'm sitting by the pond or on the patio he keeps making that characteristic clicking noise showing his displeasure.. But as soon as I'm back inside, it starts all over again. I've tried to take a pic, but he's to quick for me.
