As NASA reported the soil of Mars is fertile for asparagus
New York Time Mars article .
As you see NASA undertakes the first experiment with great success:

Who would like to join me in 2025 to eat the first Marsbananas?

What's the variety that can handle all that radiation? I'd be perfect for the CA central valley. Forecast for the next week High 90's and low 100's.

By only 100 more plants we will have a nice logistic problem. 100 plants means 200 boxes of 18,14 kg. 960 boxes enter into a Dole-Container. We'll need a nice space shuttle for transport.
