Bananas on Dual Survival
Episode "End of the Road" in Vietnam.
They showed banana plants(some with bananas), and one guy cut down a big plant, then hollowed the stump some to let the water accumulate to drink it. They also stated on the show(narrator) that Vietnam is where the native banana grows, implying these were wild bananas, but the fruit looked awfully large, but I can't ID type easily at all, so I don't know if it was true or not. I'm not particularly a big fan of the show but it was on after something I was watching, and I spotted bananas. |
