See update at the top of page 1 of this discussion thread. Since Dr. Parmar is not able to provide a phytosanitary certificate, Chong is not able to import this banana since the certificate is required by the USDA. Thanks, Chong, for all of your efforts and patience in this matter!
Has anybody else in the USA been able to import this banana? If so, I'd like to purchase one from you! Harvey |

At the moment I work for a micro-propagation lab that produces Hill Banana via tissue culture and exports them as sterile primary hardened plug plants shipped via air, with a valid phytosanitory certificate. Hi I do not know the exact name of cultivar, but I know its high altitude hold hardy banana, hardy up to 0C.
Also known to survive brief spells of upto -4C I'll try to get more info soon |
