Still don't know what banana variety this is... Anyone know? It has a maroon-ish colored cigar leaf and the blades have an underside of slight maroon.. It has long leaves as well.

Yes! Where did you get the plant? How long have you had it? Has it ever produced fruit? This information plus a picture of the entire plant as KahikiSam suggested would make identification by knowledgeable members easier. (Not me; I'm still learning.)
