Oh I'm looking forward to your pics. On teh contrary, I like the temps -7°C whici very common during nights, but those sudden falls above 0°C in winter are dangerous. And waht should I say, when the temps rise in January and February to about 15°C during the day and 5°C during the night? Peaches start to blossom only to freeze later in another frost wave.
I like slow frosts of -3 to -7. Those are most ideal, water freezes, snow freezes, everything freezes and holds temperatures well.
If the temps go above 3°C, snow melts down and then freezes in the night, making it very bad for the roots.
