There was a thread about forcing to make the Maurelli lots of pups, by lots I mean dozens at one time. You cut the plant very low and then divide the cut circle and make 2 small triangles touching with their tips.
It's somewhere in the forum, with complete manual. This way, you can get dozens of pups. Good luck.
