Smudge pots have been discontinued for some time in California. The eco-Nazis have forced other freeze treatments. Wind machines, and misting both of which require either fossil fuels to move the wind or the use of precious water to coat leaves and fruit with rime to prevent freezing.

No burning to warm the air around here for a very long time.
