I visited the Oxford Botanical gardens last week and they had a small mat of bananas labeled as Textilis.

Now the pictures I have seen of Textilis didn't look anything like the plants they have.

I have loaded 3 pictures into my gallery for you to see.

The psuedo stem was around 6 ft tall and a nice burgundy colour.

There is also a picture of the flower.
