Zac & Frank- I am very sure the bloom in the picture is actually a M. Mannii. (The plant was supposed to be M. Rubinea.) I have pollinated it using several different pollen sources on the various hands but it is too early to say how many of them took. I'll keep you posted.

I really like the contrast between the yellow/green of the fruit and the pink/purple of the stem on the plant.
