One would not rely only on the youtube version of a video to make this call, and detecting special effects in professionally produced videos is entirely different from detecting editing or tampering w/ source footage.
Timecode is usually the big giveaway - nearly all cameras will embed some kind of timecode, and looking for edits, or non-native overwriting of the timecode is a great, basic way to tell if you are looking at real camera source or post-edited content.
