Default Banana Planting Location Considerations

I've got a slew of different banana varieties that I want to plant in the ground by my back fence to create a privacy screen. What is the closest I can get away with from the fence itself and from each other? I plan on alternating dwarf and full size bananas.

Any trouble with having them near underground gas, sewer, or water lines? If so, again what kind of distance would be safe?

I'm also putting in a Florida variegated, ae-ae, siam ruby, and Zebrina rojo behind my pool. It's an in-ground pool and seems to have about a foot thick wall on the backside. Similar question: any issue with planting right behind it? Say a foot or two, so the trees overhang the pool slightly? If so, how far back should would be safe?

Thanks for any input you can offer!
