For me in zone 5/6 after a few frosts the Mekong was the first to succumb to winter.
The Basjoo lasted a couple more weeks of frosts before a hard frost stopped it completely.
Both are awesome hardy low maintenance landscape plants that add an instant tropical feel for years to come.
