It definitely has the Thai Black 'leaf curl' so I wonder what gives
Maybe the pups will come out black but who knows if it'll pup this year considering it'll start cooling down here in a month.

I hate to say, but I don't think that is Thai Black. Unless yours has mutated. By now it should be obvious, even from tc. I guess time will tell. If not, next spring I can get one to you.
