Smile New to Bananas

I am new to growing bananas in Southern California. I planted an Ice Cream variety and a Puerto Rican Plantain. They are doing very well and growing rapidly. What should I use for fertilizer and how often/when should I fertilize?
When I planted them a few months ago, I added a lot of compost and steer rotted manure into the hole, then topped with more compost. Do they need anything else?
Thanks ahead of time for your help.
