I was wondering if there’s a good way to control them or eliminate them. Or should I leave them? Are they beneficial at all?
Big box stores sell snail/slug abatements if you choose to use them.

My hostas get attacked each year and have to be controlled with baits.
Snails and slugs like new and tender sprouting plants.

You could do the beer and saucer trick.....
