Hi Mike
Sorry for the late reply. I have been really busy, plus lots of issues with my growlights. I ordered 2x T5 fluorescent growlights, 8 tubes on each growlight ,from the US ,as i couldn't find any in the UK costing me $193 on each growlight
It had taken around a month before i received my delivery. I was like a kid in a candy store when the delivery arrived. I unpacked both growlights and plugged them into the main sockets, eager too see them on, as soon as i turned them on, a huge bang on both of the lights with slight smoke and the whole downstairs electricity going off

:
I called in a electrician, to see what happened. I was able to put the downstairs lights on again but the growlights wouldn't work

Only for the electrician to point out US voltage is 120v while UK is 240v that's why there was a huge bang and slight smoke when i plugged the growlights into the main sockets, really mad at myself for not realising that
Now i have 2 growlights that a broken. A lesson for anyone that orders any grow lights from abroad, make sure the appliance voltage is compatible with a voltage in your country, or you will need a transformer adaptor.
Some good news now lol, since i couldn't use my T5 growlights i decided to use 4 x 100 watt led spotlight blubs and they are working fine. My super dwarf Cavendish is throwing leaves out, like there is no tomorrow

the 180 watts i was given her last winter was to low, that's why the petioles we're not growing properly
