They are almost certainly just the common 'Red', perhaps the dwarf form. Internationally in the scientific community, these are actually just known as 'Red', and in almost every language in regions where they are grown, they are also normally known as some form of the local word for "red". So, 'Red' it is. Some other names for them that aren't exactly "red" are Red Dacca, Cuban Red and Jamaican Red.
