Default Origin of South American Bananas

I read in somewhere that the ancient cultivars in South America came from Raiatea.....Thaiti....French Polynesia.......

I would like to know information..about what kind of cultivar.......kind of Group......

also I read that South American Bananas camefrom two different sources......Polynesian and Atlantic (maybe African)......

but I have special interest in the Polynesian strain........

Maybe Mapuche Indians from Chile .......that have confirmed Polynesian DNA..........grow some original strain..........

Mapuche Indians originally was widespread untill near south Brazil.......and maybe there´s a link.......between Polynesias Bananas....and Brazilian Bananas......that´s why I want to know more about the cultivars.......
