I cut them back to 1 foot tall so the new leaves could unfurl and hopefully gain height but I am still having the same problem.
I am wondering if this is because they don't have enough roots yet? Has anyone else had this experience before? I have never had this happen to me so I am at a loss.

Looking fine ..... roots first ... foiliage later..
It take a while sometimes before a plant decides to sort itself out.
I have a plant which has refused to grow a leaf while it's variegated sisters are 15 feet tall.
The 18 gal container is full of healthy roots but will not push leaves......Hmmmm
