Default Re: early late flowering basjoo

That's the life of the basjoo, at least that I am familiar with. an early bloom after only a few months with only one or two leaves and then One usually blooms late and the flower and plant freeze. Every other year or so you get one that blooms at the right time but, makes no difference anyway no edible fruit, you have to just love those flowers, they last forever, so pretty when ever.
