Yes, up on the bluff the climate is ok but down in the canyons small thin crusts of ice can form in the winter.
Do you have a yard for growing plants or are you in an apartment/condo ?

That's the thing Richard! I'm in an apt.
Thankfully I'm on the bottom floor and I can plant stuff in pots beyond my balcony but it limits my banana hobby :/ I'm thinking of renting a house next year but it would be in South Bay not here.
I am above the canyons so hopefully I won't get ice this winter.
