I did give it some plant food (SHULTZ ALL PURPOSE) and it's in a EAST facing window which gives it good lighting. Yet, the white part of the leaves seems to be drying out quickly.
Any thoughts?

So the plant is inside. Low humility is likely the problem. Use spray bottle to mist the plant 2 Xs a day with water. ... You can also mix Miracle Grow to use as a folar spray. Mix Miracle grow (or similar) using the small end of the scoop per directions for 1 gallon. This is your MG stock mix. Then pour the spray bottle 1/4 to 1/3 with MG stock mix and finish filling with water. The plant will/should absorb this within minutes. ... Be careful not to add water to the pot because the plant looks wilted. This can cause root rot from excess water. Mist the plant. Add water to the pot when the soil is slightly dry.
I also recommend that you get a long stem moisture meter to check the pot soil with.
