I am new here and would like to be here among people that enjoy and have a passion for bananas and banana plants but am having some troubles and don't understand what is happening.


I advertised that I was desperate to buy banana corms on here and was answered by two members that quickly sent photos and made arrangements for me to purchase from them.

I being not used to using paypal and doing business online through a forum promptly paid them via their request to pay by sending money to friends and family . I did so and the amounts requested , I was told by both that they would be shipping today and that they would send me a tracking number . I have not heard from them but posted them many times here today also emailed them several times and cannot get a reply.

My question is ....Was I stupid for buying from two established members online and did I get scammed or is it just one of those things that they did not have time to answer? I was curious as yesterday when they were trying to sell me what they had to offer I was getting emails back and forth..Please tell me what my thoughts should be on this and how to proceed ? Thanks in advance to the newbie.

I am just curious if anyone else has had an issue here and what their course of action was? I am an old man on a fixed income and worried that I might have made a mistake.. Please let me know what to do ? or should I be worried at all? Michael
