Great challenge to have......siams usually are not that prolific in our zone .
For me the plant is not tolerant of splitting this late in the season...
Your plant is not cool tolerant and might not recover in the fall for the overwinter in your home( I am being safe for your plants).
The pups will do fine if you do NOT split them.
You could slip a sharp knife between the main corm and pup just to seperate them while keeping them in the same container and do the final separation in the spring.
It is just the same as separating then but not as invasive.
Saves on pot space with NO harm to your plant.....all in the same pot.
I do that to a few of my plants.....they keep on growing like nothing happened.
Here is a photo which might help.
