There are at least 6 different hardy Musa species(M.thompsonii, M.initerans, M.tibet, M.yantzee, M.daj giant, M.hardy German) that have the Musa balbisiana leaf trait(recurved leaf where it meets the petiole).

Don't forget Musa yunnanensis! It also has rounded leaf bases.
