Another first today, Barraganete Plantain (most likely). This was sold to me as "Ecuador Plantain" and it sure looks like them. Foot long and over 1lb each. Gorgeous plant, seems more vigorous than the common Tall Plantain.







And the first Gros Michel from my newer lot.

Both of these were just about 4 months from flowering. This has been the hottest, driest winter in years so things are ripening a bit earlier than usual. With rainfall 95% below normal I'm surprised I'm getting any fruit at all.

And another Tu'u Gia, 2nd bunch of these in a week. So tasty!
