Nope. Occasionally people try to sell it as an edible Citrus fruit -- which it is not. I could see it as a protective hedge, although it is slow growing. The latter is one reason it is used as a dwarfing rootstock for Citrus.

It's a mild deterrent compared to Kei Apple (
Dovyalis caffra) which is grown as a hedge in South Africa to keep out boars, lions, and elephants. It has 3 to 5 inch long hard wooden spines. I grow mine for fruit and thus have it trained on an espalier to avoid injury during harvest.
