See? I haven't a clue how to grow anything in this new frontier! I have potatoes in my west "shade" bed (maybe 2 hours of dappled light). They're happily spudding along even though it's dry and I don't have a hose to reach to the front. (I'm still trying to figure out why there's a joint compound bucket buried in that bed with pipes in it just beneath what I think is the broken faucet. Someone said it might be the shut off valve but the water company told me you shut it off at the meter at the street if you need to do work. Up north your shutoff is inside just past the inside meter--water company has a shut off at the street to handle deadbeats.)
So as to not further derail this thread, I'm not prepared to grow any dragon fruit. But the flowers are really gorgeous.
