Default Re: Wanted: Wild banana species. pups/corms

I have Musa Chunii, Musa Griersonii, Musa Cheesmanii, Musa Yunnanensis, Musa Sanguinea.

You will never get Musa Ingens so cross that one off your list.

What type of Musa Itinerans are you are after? - there are many types. These are readily available in the USA.

The Borneo bananas you have are available as seed from various places, most notably Rare Palm Seeds, but I have not heard of anyone having germinated any, apart from Markku himself.

Musa Rubra is a red form of Musa Basjoo.
Musa schizocarpa, Musa textilis, Musa thomsonii - I have seen listed on ebay.

I've not heard of a lot of the bananas you are listed.

Where have you looked so far?
