Default Dwarf cavendish day care center

Sitting on the front porch sipping a cold drink searching the web for an answer to my question. So far, no luck.

I have 2 dwarf cavs that I bought at local nursery. Each plant 2-3 years old in pot busting at the seams. Pots are full of babies. Separated them all and now all those have babies. The larger 2 of the originals are growing but not very fast but are pupping like mad. Would it be beneficial to remove most pups so parent plant can grow or is it ok to leave them together until babies are large enough to safely separate. What would produce best growth for original plant?

Thanks much for any and all info.
