Default Re: Large banana plants no roots - any advise?

Quick update, I now have two large leaves on the medium one, which did not lose any of its previous height. The tallest one, I though was dead, and started cutting it back looking for life (it was rotting and had to be cut and peeled to remove the rot). About a foot from the ground, and a quarter of the original diameter, I found live plant, it has now produced a leaf at that point. The smallest one never recovered, I cut back past ground level looking for life, but the core was black. The daytime temp here is now 105+ daily, and everything but true desert plants really slow down.
