Your good.....these are ugly I know, but they will serve the purpose for a year or two.
The bigger the pot the better for a banana .....YOU WILL TO DO THIS WHEN IT IS ACTIVELY GROWING IN A FEW MONTHS....if you do it now it will probably rot due to the pot size and human nature to OVERWATer when the plant looks SICK.

This is a good size for your plant however the containers are UGLY>
These are cut at the 25 gal mark.....I think
