Re. your post In the other thread, it sounds to me, that you want to bring the pup inside, while leaving
the “mum” outside or winter it some other way. Whatever you do with the mother plant, leave the pup
attached. Unless it is big enough as I outlined below, it will survive, if the mother will. You can always
separate it in spring.
