Re: Do you Pindo? :^)
I thought I'd never grow a Palm tree on my property (long story) until about 5 years ago when one of my customers in the coastal town of Leucadia showed me his Pindo. It is in a corner of his yard with pit fruits on either side, and for convenience he feeds it a fruit tree formula. The dates are large and have an apricot-like flavor. For me, it is a palm worth growing for the fruit. If you feed it with 2:1:3 ratios of NPK for a couple of years, with otherwise good care it should start putting out some great fruit for you too.
