Carl - Jerry Dedon (pawpaw Jerry) has many trees growing wild along the river bank in his area -he says pawpaws will produce suckers from their root systems often a good distance from the mother tree. These not as good as seedlings grown from seeds from fruit dropping on the ground. I'm having about 80% success with the seeds i received from Jerry - now have 20 out of 24 seeds sprouted and at various heights - it takes forever...planted in May.
I will move them to pots this winter.
