Hello

Anyone growing fall (Halloween) pumpkin's?

I going to give it a go this week, hoping to find plants already started however; am not opposed to seeds:}

I need help with soil suggestions since I will attempt to grow them in the tires like I did with the potatoes as some of you may remember.

Any advice would truly be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

They are very simple to grow. Get some cow manure or compost, make sure they get plenty of sun and water (avoid powdery mildew) and you will be OK.

The only think you need to worry about and look for are this puppies below, they will destroy your crop in a matter of weeks and there is nothing you can do about it.

Other than that Happy Grow!!

Here are some pics of what I got a few years ago.
